The orphanage in Nepal

Once upon a time…..
A small group of Americans traveled to Katmandu, Nepal. It was a trip filled with wonder and awe. We were those Americans. We were with an active Nepali Christian community. They were wonderful people and showed us over-the-top hospitality. They were people who lived their beliefs.

This community was very loving in all aspects of their lives. They were respectful to each other, and very kind. One of the activities that the community maintained was to house about 20 orphans. We immediately knew that we had to help.

There are about 200 nations in this world. Nepal is near the bottom of that list when it comes to wealth.

Consequently, providing for an orphan in Nepal literally means the difference between life and death for that child.

When you purchase Benevolent Beans, we promise that a part of your money will go to that orphanage. We know those people and we will visit that orphanage at least once each year to verify that our donations are being used wisely.

You will help to save a child.

We don't show the children as it can lead to trafficking.  However, here is our team in Nepal while we were visiting and helping with the children.
